1. How often should my carpets & upholstery be cleaned?

2. Which method of carpet/upholstery cleaning do you recommend?
It depends on the fabric. Generally we find:
- The dry cleaning (foam system) method is best for natural fibres such as sisal, linen, cotton, etc.
- The wet cleaning extraction method is best for upholstery and curtains.
3. How long will the cleaning process take?
This is dependant on many factors, primarily the amount of carpet & upholstery.

4. How long do the carpets/upholstery take to dry?
Drying time varies and is also primarily dependant on the fabrics. Other factors that affect drying time are:
- the cleaning method used
- the available ventilation.
5. What type of equipment do you use to clean carpet?
Domestic-Cleaners.biz use the well known industry-standard PROCHEM™ machines.
6. Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Please clear away items such as plants, table lamps and ornaments. Allowing us free movement will minimise the risk of any accidents and breakages. A cleared workspace will ensure timely completion of all cleaning jobs.
7. Who pays for parking & congestion charges?
Domestic-Cleaners.biz aim is to provide an affordable quality service. At times it may be necessary to pass on extra charges such as parking fees and congestion charges to our clients, should we consider them to be excessive. Where possible, please arrange adequate parking in close proximity to your premises.
8. Do I have to be at home when the cleaners arrive?
No.
Domestic-Cleaners.biz give a specific one-hour window in which we aim to arrive on site. Should the cleaners be delayed by traffic or any other reason, our strict policy is to call you with a new estimated time of arrival.
In the event of you not being able to attend your property while we work, Domestic-Cleaners.biz can make arrangements to collect your keys from a reasonably designated place and drop them off upon completion. We charge a small extra fee of £10 minimum for this service.
